AFSOC aimed to modernize contested mission and logistics planning through the advent of an AI-assisted application. Manmade Creative led the user experience design and application architecture, ensuring that AFSOC's specific operational needs were met and all doctrinal processes and procedures were represented.

Building an AI-Assisted Mission Planning System
Our team collaborated closely with AFSOC Logistics Readiness Officers (LROs) to identify key challenges in mission logistics. Through user research, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing, the GALAGA application was designed to streamline the logistics planning process and provide AI-driven assistance in recommending possible courses of Action (COAs) and simulating effectiveness.

The Result
AFSOC’s mission planning capabilities can now better analyze mission directives and historical data, and integrate operational frameworks, enhancing efficiency and improving the precision of LRO recommendations.
